Lincoln Square is a student accomodation multi-residential project, currently under completion by national builder Hutchinson Builder.
The development features 669 student beds across 14 storeys, valued at $110 million.
The project is being delivered through a philanthropic donation from business identities Paul Little and Jane Hansen. Revenue generated by the student accommodation will help to find a student scholarship program.
The site incorporates two historical buildings; the International Tobacco Co Factory and Lincoln House.
Unique features of the development include a facade with Portuguese limestone and shared internal spaces with natural materials.
Additional amenities for students include a central garden courtyard, gymnasium, cinema, laundry, games lounge, cafe and multiple study areas.
The strategic location of the accommodation is situated close to the University of Melbourne Parkville campus.
Shriro Commercial collaborated with Hutchinson Builder for a flexible cooktop package. Two Omega cooktops were used in the build, comprising the 30cm OCC30TZ and 60cm OC64TZ. Both ceramic cooktops feature touch control and frameless black glass finishes.
